Couple Showcase: Melody & Matt
Hello Gorgeous!
Where do I even start with this sweet couple and their family? Melody & Matt had my heart from day 1, and I truly believe we will be in each other's lives forever. If I had to describe them (& you too, momma Kate) simply, it would be to say that they wear their hearts on the outside of their bodies. They love their people so deeply and tangibly that you can imagine how incredible and passionate they are towards each other. Watching them interact with their people both during the process of planning and on their wedding day was a true inspiration. I aspire to be that way with everyone in my life… can I just say ‘I want to be you when I grow up???’
Thank you, M&M, for allowing me to be your Wedding Planner! -EC
M&M's wedding was postponed to later in the year due to COVID, but God sure did use that time with them to make them stronger and more united than ever. The wedding decor was full of family and memories with MOB's heirloom pieces used throughout the space - this was such a gorgeous reflection of M&M's values and how they hold their loved ones in such high esteem! Speaking of, Melody took her grandmother’s gown and had it remade for her wedding. Heart eyes Then she took the lace from her mother’s gown and trimmed her veil with it! What an incredibly beautiful way to have two of the women influences in your life closest to you on your big day! The design was brought together by White Door Events and Rachel’s Flowers, and ended up being so perfect for this sweet couple!
Their ceremony was a beautiful reflection of their relationship. Hosted at their church home, First Congregational Church, set in a circle around their vows to each other, and serenated by Amy Levere, it was the sweet ceremony of their dreams. The reception was one heck of a party at Central Station Hotel! Nick Black Band killed it throughout the whole reception and even went with some of the fun family traditions they threw their way! A&M’s food at Central Station was to die for, and the presentation was chef’s kiss perfect! The whole event was beautifully documented by the amazing Rob & Deanna Photography and Message in a Bottle Productions!
