When does planning start?
Most couples book their planner about 12-14 months before their wedding. The earlier you book us, the more educated and experienced guidance you gain throughout the process.
What happens when my planner gets sick or has an emergency on the day of the event?
We are a team of certified wedding planners, and we make sure to replace our staff in the event of an emergency at no cost to the couple.
Will I still have control over my wedding if I hire a team?
Absolutely! Our goal is to be a certified education source and a calming advocate for you. We want to relieve the stress, not take away the fun!
Do I still need a planner if my venue has a coordinator?
We are SO GLAD you asked! What we do and what most venue managers do are a VERY different list of tasks and skills. We are advocates for you to all of your professional vendors on the wedding day. I’m a super Type A person, do I really need a planner?
As we always say, it’s not “can you” it’s “should you”. We work with A LOT of organized, motivated, and creative couples. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming even for the most “together” of us all. We see our job as a partner to those who can, but who shouldn’t be the ones “putting out fires” on their wedding day. It’s important for those folks to hire someone they can trust who is experienced in the millions of ways a day can veer off course. We’ll make sure nothing happens and everything stays on course while you're busy enjoying all the hard work and love your day has to offer!
